StoryNorman was Baptised at St. Nicholas Church West Boldon on Oct 1st 1899 and at the age of 12 he was a chorister at said church. He later attended Rhyhope Secondary School from I think the age of 11 to 14.In 1918 aged 18 Norman served with the Northumberland Fusiliers. His Reg.No. was 69778. In 1924 Norman was living in Roslyn Street Ashington and on the 7th of June 1924 was married at Morpeth Registry Office to Jane Tait Robinson they Had a Son Thomas Gibbon Kirton Born 1924 On the 22nd. October 1926 Norman aged 27 set sail from London for Manila on the P & 0 Ship Macedonia. On the passenger list he is listed as a Meat Salesman. He died on the 27th. June 1959 aged 59
